Mathias Vicherat is a French executive who is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the French multinational telecommunications company, Orange S.A. He was born on January 10, 1976, in Paris, France.

Vicherat graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in public administration from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) in 1999.

He started his career as a financial auditor at Ernst & Young in 1999 before joining the French Ministry of Economy and Finance in 2001. Vicherat worked at the French government's budget department, where he was responsible for budget planning and management.

In 2010, Vicherat joined Orange as the Vice President of Communications for the company's European operations. He later served as the Chief of Staff to the CEO of Orange S.A. before being appointed as the Chief Operating Officer in 2014.

As COO, Vicherat is responsible for leading Orange's global operations, including network and information systems, security and innovation, customer services, and international development. He is also a board member of several subsidiaries of Orange, including Orange Business Services and Orange Africa.
